WHAT IT IS: A daily newsletter covering business and tech.

WHY WE LIKE IT: Looking for a way to get smarter while enjoying your morning coffee? Then, give Morning Brew a try! This daily fix of business news is practically guaranteed to bring you up-to-date in just five minutes.

Each newsletter begins with a visual recap of the stock market, followed by a number of the day’s top/interesting news stories organized by category and a clever “What Else is Brewing?” section. It‘s a quick and easy read—entertaining and informative at the same time with lots of personality.

Morning Brew was the brainchild of two University of Michigan students (Alex Lieberman and Austin Rief) who, along with their fellow students, found traditional newspapers like the WSJ to be dry and tedious. While geared toward millennial business professionals, we think it appeals to anyone who wants to stay in in know (like us!) Since its inception in 2015, “The Brew Crew” has grown to seven employees and reaches more than 200,000 subscribers. Impressive!
