WHY WE LIKE IT: We’re already fans of theSkimm’s daily newsletter, so we were excited to check out their new product. Skimm Ahead helps you stay smart through their calendar of upcoming events including politics, sports, holidays, and entertainment. They even let you know when certain concert tickets go on sale or when your favorite show is returning on Netflix. And just like their daily newsletter, the editorial is entertaining and easy to digest.

Best of all, the Skimm Ahead events can be seamlessly integrated with your iPhone calendar. What a simple and clever way to stay in the loop. You’ll never have FOMO again! Plus, some of the upgrades we hoped to see have already been incorporated into the app, like the ability to personalize your calendar and even invite friends to events. It’s like they read our minds!

Whether or not you’re a daily Skimm’r, we think it’s worth keeping an eye on this company. They’ve created a virtual army of brand ambassadors who love to share theSkimm love, and the way they enlisted this group for their new product launch was pure genius. (And yes, we’re Skimm’bassadors, too, because we like to stay ‘in the know’ and learn from these savvy and often sassy entrepreneurs!)
